THE AGE OF LIGHT...

And now we come to today. Each element as wielded by Man is governed by a house. Life and Death are also so controlled. A delicate balance is maintained but each element still desires to rule. Only through control and enforcement will the balance be maintained.

Over 1000 years ago, Hadren became the center of the known world in this area. It was divided into six kingdoms based on the six elements. Only the capital of Hadren had the population, knowledge and power to rule.

The Duchy of Allwyn was established in 51AL. The leader of Hadren became the first king and the leaders of the other five kingdoms became barons. The Council of Barons headed by the King ruled over all the area.

During the next hundred years, racial conflicts forced the establishment of many new provinces with the other races forced further away from Hadren and the humans forming eight provinces of their own near Hadren. More wars over the next 500 years lowered the number to only three (Tomicia, Northgate, and Servosa) with the other races forced into the outer areas.

In 547AL, Hadren was completely destroyed with few survivors. The ruler at the time was King Nestrakum. His only heirs were daughters Princess Illsa and Princess Paristroika. The ruins of Hadren are believed to be buried beneath Barlow and surrounding area.
