Tabletop Roleplaying & Miniature Gaming

"Tabletop Gaming" is a general term used to refer to games that are usually played on a table or other flat surface, such as dice, card games, miniatures, board games, tile games, adventure/fantasy RPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons, etc.

Roleplaying is probably best described as interactive storytelling with rules. In roleplaying, a number of players assume the role of fictional characters while one special player, the gamemaster, assumes the role of the world around them and acts as referee during disputes. Character actions and reactions are improvised by the players during play not rehearsed or dictated by the gamesmaster.

A truly astounding array of people enjoy the hobby of roleplaying. Men and women from all walks of life, ranging in age from early teens to late 60s and beyond can enjoy roleplaying. The sole prerequisites for roleplaying are imagination and a willingness to express it.

Miniature gaming is an eye-stimulating mixture of strategy and creativity in many genres, and has always been a beloved hobby for many enthusiasts. Some games expand existing board games into more challenging versions. Others use terrain and hand-painted characters, forces, or armies to create elaborate backdrops for conflicts in historical, fantasy, or sci-fi battlefield scenarios.
