AFTERMATH
It is not apparent what the spring of 1013 AL holds for the residents of Tankard, but the dwarves are taking nothing for granted. Measures are being taken to rebuild defense fortifications while the smiths return to the forges to replenish depleted stock in the armories. The blood of Bronlor Hammerfall runs through the veins of the eldest ranking general, Durim Hammerfist, and he is using every bit of reason he has inherited to make sure his people remain in control of Tankard for centuries to come.
Rumbling has begun about naming Durim King of Tankard, but Durim is dismissing such comments as foolhardy distractions, focusing instead on the basic necessities of surviving and keeping their home intact. The dark dwarves have only been recently removed, and the threats within the Hammerfall Mountains are still lingering on their borders.
Durim Hammerfist believes that his people were once overwhelmed by events beyond their control, but it is not impossible to overcome the humiliation of exile to once again proudly reclaim some of the glory that was part of their past...
