I want to run a game of Labyrinth Lord, which is a retro-clone of the old classic D&D game.

This is going to be an old school dungeon crawl, and it should be a lot of fun.

I will have pregenerated characters, so just show up and be ready to roll some dice, and talk in funny voices.

I'm willing to teach the rules to newbies. :)

Labrynth Lord and Mutant Future both Rock. Goblinoid games really captured old-school gaming in these free RPGs. We've played them both at the house and they are a ton of fun and easy to play. If you haven't given them a try yet, definitely sign up for this.

Unfortunately, I'm going to be running most if not all convention or I'd definitely sign up. :(

I have that problem of normally running too many games to get into the games I want to play in, but that's okay. I like to make sure other people have enough games to choose from when they sign up to play. I tend to run the games I wish other people would run, hehe.

In regards to LL, I submitted the adventure details to you guys and gals at Circle of Swords. All of my events should be sent in at this point, so I'm looking forward to seeing them on the schedule.

I'm going to use the adventure "Under Xylarthen's Tower" by Jeff Rients. It is a bit big, but we can see how far the group of adventurers can get before the session ends.

Sounds awesome! It's great to know there is another new GM out there. Running games that fall out of the norm is great, but sadly, sometimes people are afraid to give them a chance. Some of the smaller games are a ton of fun. Best of luck in filling up your tables - I hope people give different games a chance.

Yeah, we will see who shows up to play. I figured I would give it a shot and see what happens.

Depending on interest, I may continue this game with the same characters in much the same way that Erik's AD&D 2nd Edition game ran for awhile (running the same continued game at COSCon & SIBCon, etc). The dungeon is pretty large, and I can always add to it. :)

I have it on Sat from 2-6. I just liked the idea of using the same characters over again, and have them available for people to play them again if they sign up for the game. Hopefully the game is well received. :)
