I know March is kind of far away (I'm pretty sure COSCON is on March 18-20) but I figured I would jump on here and see if anyone has any feedback.

Of my three games last year, I only got to run one of them. The one I did run was an old school Labyrinth Lord game, and I think the one reason I got to run it was because it was fantasy, and the other two games were Indie Story Games.

From past experience, do fantasy games seem to do better at these conventions?

I was just thinking of running 3 fantasy games, instead of trying to run any of the more obscure stuff.

Thoughts?

Hmm, maybe I'll just see what is on the schedule and play some games this year instead of run things.

It looks like work screwed me over, so I'll only be playing on Friday. I hope to get in some Evil Cosworld. >: )

Have fun as an evil COSworlder! Sorry you won't be running, your games were awesome at GASP.

Thanks Ron. I'm a newbie up at COS for running games so I just wanted to get some feedback. Most of my games for SIBCon didn't have enough players to run.

I'm glad you enjoyed the games at GASPCon. :) I should be running 6 or so events again this year, as I'm a glutton for punishment. hehe.

It looks like I was able to weasel out of working Saturday, so I'll be there Friday and Sat. Thanks for giving me some feedback Ron. I'll try to run a bunch of stuff for you guys up there in Butler for SIBCon.

Maybe if I run enough stuff I'll figure out what kind of games people like to play, and then stick to that. I guess the question will come down to what I like to run, and what people will actually play, hehe.

That sounds great. I enjoyed your old school/retro games, and I know there is a large 2nd ed and old school crowd around. Maybe folks didnt realize that Labyinth Lord is just a free version of basic/1sd ed.

I guess the question is, what different games are people wanting/willing to play?

I had a lot of fun playing at COSCON. I got to play an evil little Goblin Rogue in Evil Cosworld, a greedy shop keeper in the Dread game, and in the 2nd AD&D game, I got to play a female Cleric (which I role-played out in exceptional style I might add). :)

Thanks to everyone that ran games, and to everyone that set up the convention. :)
