Me to Phil. I am becoming a fan of the "Indie" games. But there has been little market for it in recent years.

Hands down.... AD&D (whatever the current ed. is) is king, of the convention here.

I added Dread on Saturday morning. And 3:16 Carnage Amonst the Stars on Sunday morning.
These are both "Indie" games, and are quick and painless to learn. Give something new a try

I am a GM who is friendly to new players, and will be glad to help you learn to play these games.

I would just like to take a few seconds to thank all the players who played in the games I ran. It was a wonderful time. I really enjoyed that everyone was willing to give a new game system a chance.

The people who played DREAD. You all really went all out to make sure the game was fun for everyone. And I would say I have never seen ( in my 27 years of roleplaying) so much tension in a game, or so many people focused on the actions of other players. I even caught myself holding my breath at one point!!

The players of 3:16 Carnage Amongst the Stars, thanks for having so much fun. It was great to see people reaching out with good ideas, and trying something new.

I had a lot of fun. I hope to run some more at the next convention.

Thanks again,

Chappy

Hi all

I'm new to the Con, but have submitted 4 'Indy', RPG events.

3 for the Bounty Head Bebop RPG and 1 for QAGS.

I know these smaller conventions are very 'Traditionalist' heavy, but I'm willing to try to stir things up =)

Bounty Head Bebop = that game world is sort of like Firefly (serenity)right?

Sorry I didn't see this till now, but yeah - you can use it to run basically any Space Western style game - Anime or Gritty :)
