If there is interest (enough for a table of players), does anyone have a desire to try and put together some G rated adventures for kids?

Our lives are already scheduled out for the March CON but this is something to start thinking about! The only thought I have about age groups is to be ready to adapt to the ages of whomever signs up, and if necessary be able to divide into two groups based on age.

The oldest is 6 and plays board/card games, and both the 6 and almost-4-year-old play video games. We usually try to get to the Con on Saturday. I can't volunteer since I'll be chasing the little one around.

For example, you would probably need an area for the kids, and Instana mentioned things for different age groups. Guess it wouldn't need to be RPGs - they could do board games, macaroni art or some other kind of craft as long as they were happy and in a safe environment. Really, I think I have a role playing game geared toward the 10 ish crowd. It is a fantasy game like D&D. I have it as a PDF, so if we get a person to run....I have a role playing game for them to run.

I forgot what some of them were but they are very interesting. Jason and Abby might remember more than me.

I've also seen other conventions try and run a kids activity or special games geared towards kids. It seemed like such a nice thing to have for the kids and parents, while it also gets a new generation of gamers to have fun at our conventions.
